After you're Blocked ?

If you happen to get blocked by our firewalls, which happens especially when you are setting up a new website, just call our support number or email support@webspace.net.au. We can usually verify you and unblock you within minutes.

And my Customers ?

Your customers are not affected at all when you are blocked. Only you and anyone sharing the same internet address are. So whilst you may be inconvieninced, rest assured you website is alive and well and working for you.

Server Security and Configuration

Our servers have very little tolerence for hacking attempts and script kiddies - but unfortunatley in todays world this is how it has to be. If you or one of your customers uses an incorrect password 5 times in 5 minutes they will be denied access to all servers and services.

We wish we didn't have to, but if you have a look at our logs you would understand that we can not take chances with our customers information.

At this point we do not have anyway for you to unblock your own IP - that would be asking for trouble - so you will have to email andrew@webspace.net.au to have the block lifted.

Other things you can try would be to disconnect form the internet and reconnect. In 99% of cases this will give you a new IP address and you will be OK. If this isn't possible send an email and we will get straight onto it.
