Stopping SPAM with SPAM Assasin
One of the most effective tools to eliminate the greatest amount of SPAM is to enable Spam Assasin.
To enable SPAM Assasin
- Log into cPanel
- Under the Mail Section Select SPAM Assasin
- Click the button labelled "Enable SPAM Assasin"
- SPAM Assasin is now "Enabled". Click "Go Back"
- The following Steps are Optional but highly recommended
- Further down the screen click the button labelled "Enable SPAM Box"
- Spam messages will now be placed into a Spam folder for later review.
To review messages that have been marked as SPAM
- Log in to your webmail
- If you have any SPAM there will be a folder below your inbox called "SPAM" selecting this folder will list all the SPAM (or message smarked as SPAM).
